The City of Fort Worth Finance Department has a Management Analyst I job available.

This position will support senior level management staff with various administrative functions such as, managing calendars, scheduling training, processing travel arrangements and coordinating personnel activities. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing the department procurement process in accordance with purchasing policies and procedures. A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and efficiently is essential. In addition we are looking for someone who is proactive with an ability to perform a variety of administrative tasks.

Management Analyst I job duties include:

  • Tracking and ensuring the completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items until resolved
  • Calendar management for Conference Rooms and CFO
  • Prepare and finalize written communications such as PowerPoint presentations and memos
  • Serve as Key Performance Indicator Liaison for department

All administrative support functions, including:

  • Budget, monitor, and track handling charges and other related expenses
  • planning and preparation of onsite meetings and other external stakeholder functions
  • organizing documents
  • supply ordering and requesting purchase orders
  • Pcard approver
  • HR personnel support
  • travel arrangements
  • contract management and maintenance of document repository
  • Timekeeper for department
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM module
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Purchasing Module
  • Experience serving as a Human Resources Coordinator administrative duties
  • Familiar with FMLA and Workers Compensation processes
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environme
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills
